Question
I have a Japanese Dreamcast and an American version of Shenmue. I tried to use the Utopia boot disc to override the region coding, but the game isn't loading up. Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can do get the game to play? Thanks!

Get an American Dreamcast?
No, really. How much are they these days - about $40 or so? Probably less than one new XB360 or PS3 game.
Videogames, comic books, art, anime and Buffy. All that geek stuff. This blog attempts to look at race, class, sexuality and gender through the analysis of popular culture.

I might just have to--though it sucks because my Japanese Dreamcast cost only $15.
Maybe I'll just end up borrowing someone's.
$25 from this eBay seller.

My advice: Spend another $10 or so and get the VGA controller. DC games look terrific on computer monitors.
